Cut and Torn Paper Illustrations

May there always be a safe place, a haven, for your heart.

I'm working on an update to makingbooks.com. One of the things I'm adding is images to the Teachers and Families pages. I found some boards showing various illustration techniques that I made when I first started teaching bookmaking and my classes were called Artmaking for Everyone: Simple Handmade Books and mostly for adults. This being before my years of teaching children and continual simplification of the process of bookmaking process, I used flour paste for the gluing. The paper was Moriki paper from Japan.

Thanks Mo. It's fun to find nice surprises from the past. I really liked heart haven too.
