Lammas

On this first day of Celtic autumn, let us breathe deep and soak in the warmth and bounty of the earth.

The oak leaf hydrangea signals the seasons-the faint pink bracts heralding the coming autumn when the leaves turn a rich, deep burgundy.

Lambess... I had to google when I found one of my favourite Finnish words here on your beautiful blog.. Lammas is Finnish for a sheep, backwards it's sammal for moss. I like useful words.
