Autumn

This morning's walk led to a different day than I expected. It often happens when I bring my camera. Instead of tackling the tasks on my list, I couldn't resist spending time with the photos once they were imported into the computer. I find that some of my most vivid experiences of nature occur indoors. The objects of the natural world—leaves, flowers, buds—are isolated from their environment but combine and blend on the screen into what for me is a deeper understanding.
