Studio Sunday-Lowell Women's Week Public Art
This morning the front of the studio was overtaken by the Lowell Women's Week Public Art Project. Yesterday we spent a long day stringing the close to 300 books from women and girls in the community. This morning I made the sign on the top and added a few details. Then it was off to Lenzi's in Dracut, MA to install it for tomorrow's breakfast after which it will move to the Pollard Memorial Library in Lowell for the month of March. I'll be writing a post about the project which was supported in part by a grant from the Lowell Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
