Thoughtful Thursday-Looking Back
I've been meaning to write out the talk I give about my artist's journey. After my return from Cleveland, I took the time to do it while it was still fresh in my mind. Thinking about my work through the years led me to some old journals and notebooks. I was amazed at the above page from 1984. I didn't realize how early on this theme was on my mind. Here is the first sentence of my statement about the Spirit Books: "The Spirit Books celebrate the natural world that we see and the invisible one that lies behind it."

funny how often we think an idea or passion is new when the roots are actually very deep.
your books reflect your intent so clearly & deeply Susan and that is just from seeing them in photographs in real life they must glow!
