This is the first year I am participating in Newburyport's Free Art Show. Started in 2001 by Gordon Pryzbyla and Dylan Metrano, it is an annual event. Artists make 30 pieces (the same or different) that are stamped with "Free Art" and placed in boxes around town. This year's locations are: Caffe di Siena, the Firehouse Center for the ARts, Joppa Fine Foods, The Dance Place, and Ganesh Imports in Newburyport, and expanding beyond at Ganesh Imports in Portsmouth, Engine in Biddeford, Maine and Waterfall Arts in Belfast, ME.
