Last weekend I went to the Fall Studio Sale at Barberry Hill Pottery which featured work by studio owner Barbara Haack, Diana Philip, and my friend Ann McCrea. I purchased one of Ann's Collection Plates. For the season, I am using it for rose hips.
I bought it on Saturday and picked it up at the close of the show on Sunday. I used the intervening time to prepare for its arrival. On the white surface where I planned to display the plate, I was storing the markers for my giant white erase board. They are now in a much more convenient place in a shower caddy between the calendar and the board. I love the empty the circle that would go around the shower head. An added benefit was that once I cleared the white surface in question, everything else looked so messy. Now I have a clean desk too.
