Here's a book spine poem sent to me by Melanie Bennett. I'll be posting all I am sent on April 30 to close Poetry Month so please, send yours along to susan (at) susangaylord.com.
I love the spine poetry! What a novel idea! Great website too! Thank you for sharing the accordion book PDF. I will be making accordion books with 4th grade students as a creative activity, teaching them how to tell a basic story using illustrations with simple text. We will choose a theme concerning pets to go with the reading of my book, The Duck Without A Quack. Can't wait to see the student's book projects. Great project to complete in a short lesson period. Thank you, Lorraine Haddock Author/Presenter/Fiber Artist
to my online studio and journal where I share my art and my thoughts on the creative process and the artist's life. Your comments are most welcome here and by email: susan(at)susangaylord.com.
The Keepsake Books videos were created in response to the pandemic and this time of uncertainty and isolation. Engaging in creative activity and expression has always helped me stay grounded. I share these videos with the hope that making books may do the same for you.
