Interesting. Do you put those under the paper (does it have to be thin paper for that?), or write directly on these sheets? I need to do a calligraphy class I think, I've dabbled for too long!
Nina, yes I put them under the paper. Works fine for copy paper weight and a little thicker. I have a light box which I use for thick paper.
And whenever possible I try to work less formally and not use lines at all.
Thanks, ah, a light box, that makes sense. I've been known to use the window, but that's not so practical! My 'informal' tends to just look untidy. I think I need to learn the rules before I can break them. Love your blog, thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas for children's stuff, I'm hoping to do more workshops with children and I use your stuff for a lot of my inspiration.
