If I had to pick a color that represents spring to me, it would be the first green of the maple trees—the flowers that precede the leaves. I used a photograph of maple blossoms to create this image from The Wondrous Nearer Drew: Artwork Inspired by the Poetry of Emily Dickinson and the Flowers of Massachusetts.
