Reflections from the Newburyport Lantern Festival
The Lantern Festival, sponsored by Greater Newburyport Cancer Awareness, will be held on August 31 at Bartlet Mall in Newburyport, MA. For the second year, I will be participating as a calligrapher, writing names and messages on the lanterns. I wrote an article about my experience last year with reflections from my point of view as a daughter and an artist for an As I See It column in The Daily News of Newburyport.
