Gigi Thibodeau nominated me for the 3 day flower photo challenge on facebook. I thought I'd share them with you here on the blog as well. This is Thalictrum commonly known as meadow rue. I'm quite fond of this plant. It is willowy and tall, well over my 5'4" which is why there is sky in the background of the photo. I love stretches of purplish stems and delicate leaves as well as the flowers.
And it looks wonderful in a vase.
