The cycles of the sun
remind us of the narrow path we walk.
As the days grow shorter,
let us embrace the vulnerability
in the midst of August's exuberance.
Lettering was done with a Speedball C-4 nib and Calligraphica Crystals. The photograph was taken in my garden. Hydrangea arborescens 'Invincibelle Spirit'is in the foreground in my hand. Callicarpa dichotoma 'Early Amethyst' or beauty berry is in the background. The tiny blossoms will form purple berries in the fall.
