Studio Sunday-Books in Bloom

I'm getting ready for this year's Books in Bloom, a fundraising event sponsored by the Friends of the Newburyport Library and the Newburyport Horticultural Society. A flower arrangement is paired with a book of the maker's choice. I chose Su Blackwell's The Fairy-Tale Princess and am making my flowers from old book pages. There are more flowers to be made and leaves to be added. My plan is to fill the bowl with thin strips of the pages to hide the base.



Books in Bloom takes place at the Newburyport Public Library on April 6 from 6:30-9 PM.
