Forty Years #15: Lowell Farmers Market

I had a table at the Lowell Farmers Market along the canal at Lucy Larcom Park for at least one summer. I sat amongst farmers and beekeepers. I made this zucchini recipe sheet to sell. The lettering leaves a lot to be desired but I do think it has a certain charm. The recipes were also a lot more casually written than I would do today. I’m sure I didn’t test them. I’m hoping I at least made them.

I wrote out names for people on a pre-printed page with a floral border. I charged $1.00 and found it a good way to offset the table fee at craft shows. and have a more personal connection with people. Among the things I would do differently today: I’d wear a top with a back.
