Forty Years #16: Craft Shows

 I also did a lot of craft shows. I’d have some framed pieces, my name sheets, and lots of small matted quotes. I’d copy them in black and white and add the color by hand. It was exciting at first but I eventually found the process grueling—packing up to go, setting up, sitting there talking to people all day or waiting for someone to come by, then packing up to go home and then unpacking. I never go to an art or craft show that I am not thankful that I am not the one sitting behind the table or standing in the booth.
